As you know he is a reader of ANC(African National Congress),  the first black president of South Africa.

But I didn’t know his young time.

He was born in Mvezo. When he was child, he was very happy.

When he was 16, he stop being boy. he sat on the ground with other boys.

Then he liked white man because they built schools.

Many university students he protested.

In 1943-49 he studied law at Witwaterland University and he was only black student.

1944 he married first wife. And he had four children.

In 1951 he and ANC told government “change six apartheid laws or we’ll protest again”. And he told other member of ANC “perhaps the police will use violence but you can’t.

 Next year he started law office in Johannesburg with friend. It was the only black lawyer office in South Africa.

1956 he was arrested.

1957 he married again.
